Ruth Marleau

The family announces the passing of Ruth Marleau on September 20, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on June 11, 1935, in Sudbury, Ontario, Ruth was a cherished presence in the lives of her family and friends. She is predeceased by her mother Elmi Ojanpera Vainikainen, stepfather Leo Nurmi, significant other Raymond Marleau, son Michael Victoria Creighton (Olga), and grandson Kurtis. Ruth is survived by her children, Ruth-Ann McDonald (Scott) and Matthew (Michelle), along with grandsons Christopher (Aja), Nicholas (Dee), and Sasha (Samira), and great-grandchild Kasha.
