Rosa Cacciotti

Rosa Cacciotti of Sudbury, Ontario, passed away on October 7, 2026, at the age of 97. Born on June 20, 1929, Rosa was a cherished member of her family and community. She was predeceased by her grandmother Rosa Cacciotti; her parents, Rinaldo and Fermina Cacciotti (Corsi); her husband, Florimondo Cacciotti; her brothers, Gino (Jeanine) and Enzo (Carmela); and her in-laws, Gina Bianconi (Quirino), Nicola (Maggiorina), Costanza Ceti (Floro), Loretta Spaziani (Franco), and Riccardo. Rosa is survived by her close friend Giuditta Fragomeni (late Tony); her brothers, Angelo (Fiorina) and Luigi (late Anna); as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation took place on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, located at 233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1. A funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Christ Church, 30 Beech St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3C5P6, followed by a graveside service at 11:00 AM at Civic Memorial Cemetery, 365 2nd Ave N, Sudbury, ON P3B3M4. Donations in her memory may be made to the Maison McCulloch Hospice, with the family designating contributions to the Fondation de la Maison de Soins Palliatifs de Sudbury Hospice Foundation.
