Ronald John Shrigley

Ronald John Shrigley of Sudbury, Ontario, passed away on August 13, 2026, at the age of 88. He was born on March 25, 1938. He was predeceased by his wife, Marlin Shrigley; his parents, James and Grace Shrigley; and his siblings, Doris Holmberg (married to Alan) and Donald (married to Sandra). He is survived by his children, Douglas Shrigley (married to Veronika) and Kimberly Sigouin; his grandchildren, Devyn Sigouin (married to Lauren), Shannen Sigouin (married to Michael), Jeff Shrigley (married to Sarah) and Samantha Thompson (married to Michael); his great‑grandchildren, Benjamin, Parker, Sullivan, Baker and Vera; his brothers, Ross and Edward; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Park Lawn Cemetery, 379 Horobin Street, Greater Sudbury, ON. A memorial service followed at 11:00 a.m. on the same day in the R. J. Barnard Chapel, 233 Larch Street, Greater Sudbury, ON. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Maison McCulloch Hospice or Crohn’s and Colitis Canada.
