Rodney Wabegijig

Rodney Wabegijig, a resident of Sudbury, Ontario, was born on July 7, 1989, and passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 37. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Alexander and Victoria Manitowabi, and Frank and Madeline Wabegijig, as well as numerous aunts and uncles including Ronald, Jim, Harold, Dennis, Gene, Cecil, Melvin, Luke, Randy, Karen, and Wilma. Rodney is survived by his mother, Claudette; brothers, Ronald and Reece; nieces and nephews, Rowan, Carter, Madilynn, and Barrett; siblings, Bradley, Savannah, and Lindsay; aunts, Gail, Myra, Lisa (Rick), Maureen, Cindy (Howard), June (Ronnie), Paulette, and Velma; godparents, Tammy Manitowabi and Frank Wabegijig; a close friend, Rocky; and his father, Tim Hortons (McDonalds). Visitation took place on September 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM, and a funeral service will be held on September 18, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross Mission Church, located at 2525 Wikwemikong Way, Wikwemikong, ON P0P2J0. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Easter Seals Society would be appreciated.
