Robert Despatie

The family of Robert Despatie announces his passing on September 28, 2026, at the age of 51. Born on March 23, 1975, Robert was deeply connected to many throughout his life. He is predeceased by his father, Gilles Despatie, and his grandparents, Wilfrid Despatie, Laurette Drouin, and Roland Drouin. Robert is survived by his mother, Nicole Despatie; his sisters, Lynn Hopkin (Thomas) and Tanya Tylko (Brian); his grandmother, Monique Despatie; his parents-in-law, Raymond and Rita Thibeault; his sisters-in-law, Suzanne Gilbert (Daniel) and Diane Drapeau (Eric); and numerous nieces and nephews, including Kayla, Shelby, Julia, Sydney, Faith, Olivier, Océane, Hudson, Cameron, Hope, Avah, Cadence, Kailo, and Ariah. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Valley East Food Bank.
