Murray MacQueen

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Murray MacQueen of Sudbury, Ontario. Murray was born on April 16, 1941, and he passed away on October 2, 2026. He was predeceased by his stepson Trevor (Kerri), his grandson William, his parents Mabel (Kit) and Neil (Duck), and his siblings Judy (Ray), Lynn (Craig), and Bruce (Brenda). Murray is survived by his wife Debra MacQueen; his children Billie (Karen) and Shelley Wood (Troy); his stepson Ian (Allie); his grandchildren Craig (Rachel), Natalie, Nicole, Hailey, Aiden, Ava, Grace, and Liam; and his great-grandchildren Selena and Joey. He is also survived by many friends, nieces, nephews, and in-laws. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home located at 233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1. In lieu of flowers, donations in Murray's memory may be made to The Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
