Marie Jeanne D'Arc Alma Lafleur

Marie Jeanne D'Arc Alma Lafleur of Sudbury, Ontario, passed away on August 9, 2026, at the age of 82. She was born on September 15, 1943. Predeceased by her parents, Ubald Lalonde and Jeanne D'Arc Lalonde, she is survived by her husband Ernest Lafleur; her children, Diane Saulnier (Kirk) and Ron Lafleur; her grandchildren, Mitchell Black and Brittany Saulnier; her great‑grandchild Maverick; her siblings, Claire Valjakka (late Seppo), Rita Wawryszyn and Lise Lalonde; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation was held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent St., Greater Sudbury, ON. A funeral service followed on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the same location. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
