Marc Forget

The family announces with heavy hearts the passing of Marc Forget in Sudbury at Maison McCulloch Hospice on June 26, 2026, at the age of 86. He was the son of the late Wilfrid and Alice Forget (née Cartier). Marc was a devoted husband to Liliane Forget (née Beaulieu) and a beloved father to Luc Forget and the late Stéphane Forget. He cherished his role as a grandfather to Katrine (Patrick) and Philippe (Rachel), and as a great-grandfather to Leo, Alexis, and Hadrien. Marc was a dear brother to the late Guy (late Anne) and late Richard (late Margaret), and he leaves behind many nieces and nephews. A retired teacher, he volunteered extensively in his community, particularly through his church and the parishes of La Toussaint and Ste-Anne-des-Pins. He dedicated over 40 years to the Scouting movement and was passionate about music, leading singing at various venues. A Funeral Mass will be held on August 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Ste-Anne-des-Pins Church, followed by a reception in the church hall.
