Liisa Kangas

Liisa Kangas of Sudbury, Ontario, died on August 12, 2026, at the age of 66. She was born on October 19, 1959. Liisa was predeceased by her parents, Aulis and Shirley Kangas, her brother David, and her niece Jodi. She is survived by her husband Art Rochon, her son Christopher, her brother Allan (Sue), her nieces Kaila (Nathan), Erika (Daz), Erin (Zach) and Chelsey, and her siblings‑in‑law Paulette St. Denis (Jean‑Eric), Georgette Plante (late Jean‑Paul) and Roy Rochon. Visitation took place on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Greater Sudbury, ON. A funeral service was held at the same location on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the HSN – Northern Cancer Foundation were requested.
