Kirk Burns of Sudbury, Ontario died on August 14, 2026, at the age of 62. He was born on August 4, 1964. He was predeceased by his parents, Mervyn and Carol Burns, and his wife, Judy Burns. He is survived by his siblings Darren Burns (married to Brenda Hitchner) and Rhonda Rinta (married to Yvan Pothier); his nieces and nephews Eric Rinta (partner Renée), Jessica Rinta, Abigail Pothier and Piper Pothier; his step‑daughters Cindy Harley (married to Darrin Harley) and Melanie Johnson; his granddaughter Megan French (partner Joseph Critchlow); and his sister‑in‑law Shirley Bock (married to John).
