Kauko is survived by his children, Jason (Sandra) and Melissa (Kevin), and his cherished grandchildren, Olivia (Ardy) and Darian (Uliana). He also leaves behind his siblings: Maila (Percy), Ilmari (Astrid), Laila (Andrew), Alex (Seija), Albert (Nancy), Sally (Tony), Viesti (Pete), and Richard (Arlene), along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
