Jean Marc Comtois

The family of Jean Marc Comtois announces his passing in Sudbury on July 6, 2026, at the age of 77. He was the son of the late Donat and Bertha (née Cyr) Comtois. Jean Marc was a devoted father to Josée (Jackson Murphy) and Lesley (Chris Mitchell), and a cherished grandfather to Dylan. He is survived by his sister, Lorraine Pelletier (late Royal), and predeceased by siblings Conrad (late Velma), Claudette Gravelle (late Gilles), Rachel Sottile (Frank), and Diana Lachapelle (Jacques). He will be fondly remembered by his cousin, Louis Thouin, and his special friend, Mardie, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Jean Marc had a successful career in sales management at Alexander Centre Industries before pursuing home renovations in the Sudbury area. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury, on Saturday, August 22, 2026, starting at 10:30 a.m., with a service to follow at 11 a.m. Donations may be made to Pet Save or a charity of your choice.
