Huguette (née Néron) Séguin
The family announces with great sadness the passing of Huguette (née Néron) Séguin at St-Joseph's Villa on June 4, 2026, at the age of 83. She was the beloved wife of the late Gérard Séguin and is predeceased by her parents, Lauréat Néron and Germaine Lacroix. Huguette was a cherished mother to the late Christine Séguin-Dupuis (Denis Dupuis), Ian Séguin (Lucie Leblanc), and Anik Séguin. She is survived by her dear siblings Aline Youmans, Michelle Poliquin, Denis Lachance, Chantal Lachance-Grzela, Roger Lachance, Michelle Lachance-Courchesne, Rémi Lachance, and Gaëtan Lachance. Huguette was a beloved grandmother to Brigitte, Zacharie, Hunter, Emmy, Marc-Éric, Michaël, Jérémie, and Janica, and a great-grandmother to Elizabeth. A Funeral Mass will be held on July 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Ste-Anne-des-Pins Church, followed by visitation and reception at the Cooperative Funeral Home from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. A graveside service will take place in Moonbeam, Ontario, on August 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation are appreciated.
