Gwendolyn Wabegijig

The family announces the passing of Gwendolyn Wabegijig of Sudbury, Ontario on October 10, 2026, at the age of 93. Gwendolyn was born on March 31, 1933. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Wabegijig; her parents, William Ozawagosh and Stella Ozawagosh of Atikameksheng; her siblings, Freda (Kerry), Francis (Mandy), Marjorie (Ernie), Loretta (late Prince), Shirley, and Jack; and her children, Kenneth, Cleo (Annette), Bennett, Peter, Stephan, and Beverly. Gwendolyn is survived by her brother Frank (Julie); her children, Peggy, Valarie (Gerald), Charlotte (late Kurt), Jackie (late Brian), Bertha (Vic), Corrinne, Mary (Greg), Victoria, Eric, Janet, and Bonnie (Bill); her godson Tim; her granddaughters, Judy, Jessica, and Ophelia; and her great grandchild Selena. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Whitefish Catholic Cemetery. Donations to COPD or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
