Gilbert Hein of Sudbury, Ontario, passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 75. He is survived by his beloved wife, Wendy Hein, and their daughters, Marcy Lachance (Devon) and Megan Hein. Gilbert was a proud grandfather to Owen, Kayla, and Joshua. He is also survived by his siblings, Moreley, Lily (Charlie), and Arnita (Mike). Gilbert was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Freda Hein, as well as his siblings, Gary, Arthur, Adam, Willy, Onny, Gail, and Nancy. He will be remembered fondly by family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Arrangements are entrusted to Simple Wishes of the North.
