Georgina Kanasawe

Georgina Kanasawe of Sudbury, Ontario, passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on December 7, 1962, she was deeply loved by her family and friends. Georgina is survived by her children, Robin and Lance Kanasawe, and her grandchildren, Lillee, Thomas, Melody, and Ariel Assiniwe of Sagamok. She is also mourned by her parents, Levi and Ursula Kanasawe, and her siblings, Joe Baa, Eleanor, Debbie Baa, Lawerence Baa, Robert (Brenda), and Lillian Baa, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and cousins. Visitation took place on September 7, 2026, at St. Ignatius Church in Buzwah, followed by a funeral Mass on September 9, 2026, at Holy Cross Church in Wikwemikong. In lieu of flowers, donations and condolences can be shared through the guestbook.
