Gary Eshkawkogan

Gary Eshkawkogan of Sudbury, Ontario, passed away on August 14, 2026, at the age of 70. He was born on December 29, 1955. He was predeceased by his parents, J. Marie Jacko Tahgaiwenene and L. Clement Ozawanimiki Eshkawkogan. He is survived by his stepmother Dorothy Eshkawkogan; his wife Tina; his children Kevin (with Melissa), Adam (with Stefanie), Amsay (with Carlos), Faith (with Chad) and Santana (with Evan); his grandchildren Kyleigh, Saraya, Koyhn, Dayen, Miya, Leeda, Selena, Valentina, Anthony, Ignatius, Nazareth, Gracie, Cedar and Saylor; his great‑grandchildren Faith and River; his siblings Jerry, Micheal (with Daphne), Bernadette (with Bruno), Jeffery (with Hali), Mark, Bonita, Peter (with Dawn), Patricia (with Barclay) and Gertrude; and his aunts and uncles Arthur Jacko, Ursala Madahbee, Helen Petahtegoose (with Bernie), Rita Osawabine (with Frank), Henry Jacko, Gloria Pitawanakwat (with Gilbert), Lawrence Jacko, Rose Anderson (with Gary), Vernon Jacko, Betty Corbiere (with Frank), Cecil Jacko and Lennox Jacko. Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Josh and Tina’s Homestead, 839 Beach Road, Wiikwemikoong, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a tree be planted in Josh’s memory.
