Florence McInnis

Florence McInnis passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on October 24, 1932, in Papineauville, Quebec, she spent her childhood in Brent, Ontario, before establishing a loving home in Capreol with her late husband, Ken. Florence was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, leaving behind her children Kim (Louise), Nancy, and John, along with grandchildren Lindsay, Lisa, Sarah (Jay), Mallory (Jamie), Josh (Chelsey), Keith, and Alexandra (Ben). Her great-grandchildren brought her immense joy. A talented seamstress, she created cherished items for her family and volunteered at the Blue Door Soup Kitchen. Florence enjoyed music, playing the piano, and the simple pleasures of life. The family expresses gratitude to those who supported her in her later years. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Peach Church, Sudbury, on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 11 a.m., with friends gathering at 10:30 a.m.
