Cora Maria Turcott
Cora Maria Turcott of Sudbury, Ontario, passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on March 15, 1951, Cora is remembered by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her husband, Jim Turcott; her parents, Rolf Falkenberg and Cora Falkenberg; and her brother, Rolf Falkenberg Jr. (Natalie). Cora is survived by her sister, Claudia "Pic" Falkenberg; her daughters, Vicki and Lisa (Wayne Gorham); her grandchildren, Jodie, Robyn, Felix, Trent, and Rylee; as well as her nieces, Kate, Holly, and Cassi. Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, located at 233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1. A funeral service will follow on the same day from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the R. J. Barnard Chapel, also at 233 Larch St. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the HSN Foundation - Cancer Unit to support their dedicated team of doctors, nurses, and volunteers. Donations can be directed to the NORTHERN CANCER FUND (HEALTH SCIENCES NORTH FOUNDATION).
