Byron Joseph Kagige

The family of Byron Joseph Kagige announces his passing on September 7, 2026, at the age of 67 in Sudbury, Ontario. Born on September 29, 1958, Byron was a beloved figure in the lives of many. He is survived by his children, James, Joseph (Seraphine), Candace (Jason), and Tanaya, along with his grandchildren Jonas, Shaye, Peyton, Devonte, and Jaydence, and great-grandchildren Gervonta and Mateo. Byron is also mourned by his parents, John and Joyce Kagige, and his siblings Irvin (Mona), Marilyn, Linda (Malcolm), Elizabeth (Timothy), Brenda (Justin), Darin (Wanda), Kenneth, Richard, and Willis. He leaves behind friends Joanne, Dianne, Twila, and many cherished nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on September 10, 2026, at St. Ignatius Church, followed by a funeral service on September 12, 2026, at Holy Cross Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoulin Health Center – Little Current.
