Betty Lou Fogal
Betty Lou Fogal, a resident of Sudbury, Ontario, was born on August 30, 1939, and died on August 11, 2026, at the age of 86. She was predeceased by her parents, Clifford White and Helen Middaugh, and by siblings Barbara (married to Dave Jordan), Linda (Len Phillips), Maryann (Roy Robertson), Terry (Sally), Tom (Cheryl) and Charlie (Irene). Survivors include her spouse Arden; children Wayne (Sue), Gerry (Colette), Sharon (Karl Smith) and James (Sandra VanClieaf); grandchildren Ray, Sarah (Dan), Maggie, Jessica (Billy), Phillipe (Elizabeth), Crystal (Jeffrey), Scott (Tiffany), Tracey (Kurt), Roger (Ashley), Kevin and Kayla (Jeremy); great‑grandchildren Gwen, Victoria, Audria, Carter, Emma, Adelaide, Madison, Austin, Hayley, Lacey, Ben and Delaney; and siblings Donna (Bruce Gibson), Donald (late Carole), Jean (late Calvin Campbell), Susan (Jim Dunn), Freda (Jack Myers), Christeen (Bruce Ruttan), Beverly (Darrell Crawford), Henry Allen (Lisa), Gary (Marilyn) and Carolyn (Fred Hunter), along with many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Visitation was held on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Greater Sudbury, ON. The funeral service followed at the R. J. Barnard Chapel, same address, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on the same day. Contributions may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Espanola Nursing Home.
