Antonio Gomes Costa

Antonio Gomes Costa of Sudbury, Ontario, passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on March 16, 1942, he was predeceased by his brothers, Jose and Joaquim, as well as his parents, Jose and Maria (Rosário). Antonio is survived by his sons, Fernando (Santina) and Pedro (Jessica), along with his grandchildren, Allison, Tiago, and Jorge. He also leaves behind his siblings, Maria, Herminia, and Manuel, along with extended family and friends. Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, followed by a prayer service at 3:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle Church. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Health Sciences North Stroke Program or the Heart & Stroke Foundation are appreciated.
