Agnès (née Taylor) LAMOTHE

The family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Agnès Lamothe (née Taylor) at Pioneer Manor on July 30, 2026, at the age of 95. She was the daughter of the late Raoul and Regina Taylor. Agnès was the beloved wife of Aurèle Lamothe and a cherished mother to Nicole Lavictoire (Léo), the late Normand Lamothe (Deborah), Denise Giroux (Denis), Denis Lamothe (Johanne), and the late Jocelyne Lamothe (Jean-François). She was a devoted grandmother to Mélanie, Daniel, Nathalie, Miguel, Chantal, Alain, the late Mikhaël, Julien, François, Martine, and Philippe, and a proud great-grandmother of 18. Agnès was predeceased by her siblings Regine (Omer) and Victor. Known for her cheerful and generous spirit, she was active in her community and enjoyed various hobbies. The family expresses gratitude to the staff at Pioneer Manor for their compassionate care. Friends and family are invited to gather at the Cooperative Funeral Home on August 9, 2026, from 12 noon to 3 p.m., followed by a chapel service. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Arthritis Society of Canada.
