Shirley Ann (Nettleton) Skubowius of Stratford, Ontario, passed away on August 5, 2026. She is survived by her parents, George Wilson Nettleton and Alice Maud King; brothers Bill and Jack Nettleton; partner Reiner; husband Ray Adair; children Jeff Skubowius (married to Ann), Roger Skubowius, and Judy Skubowius (married to Charles Summers); grandchildren Adam Skubowius (married to Waylon), Kayla Skubowius (married to Blake), and Madeline Atchison Skubowius; and great‑grandchildren Scarlett and Emmett Cleasby. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford, ON N5A5T7, followed by a reception from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the same location. Contributions may be directed to Stratford Perth Hospice Foundation or the Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth through the funeral home.
