Sean Elford

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sean Elford of Stratford, Ontario, who departed this life on September 30, 2026, at the age of 55. Sean is survived by his mother, Mary Ellen Elford (Latanville); his sister, Janet Keilhack (Gary Keilhack); his children, Stephanie and Mitchell; and his aunt, Helen. He was predeceased by his father, Donald Stuart Elford, and his grandparents, John and Ellen Latanville, and Milton and Margaret Elford. Sean will be remembered fondly by family, friends, and colleagues for the meaningful connections he made throughout his life. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the W.G. Young Funeral Home Reception Centre, located at 430 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5T7. The family requests donations to the London Health Sciences Centre (London Regional Cancer Program), Stratford General Hospital Cancer Program, Stratford Rotary Hospice, or a charity of your choice, which can be arranged through W.G. Young Funeral Home.
