Samuel Parry Ogilvie, a resident of Stratford, Ontario, died on August 16, 2026, at the age of 86. He was born on April 25, 1940. He was predeceased by his siblings Dennis Ogilvie and June Fryer (Ralph), his parents Samuel Lewis Ogilvie and Zena Thomas, and his stepfather David Thomas. He is survived by his wife Donna (Chippa); his children Paul, Michael, Sherry and Tracey (Larry Williams); his grandsons Tanner Williams, Connor Williams (Laura Nasso), David Williams (Kerri) and Dennis Williams (Hollie); his great‑grandchildren Theodore, Emerson, Elyse, Dayna, Leah and Shay; his sister‑in‑law Luba Ogilvie; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation was held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford, ON. A Mass of Christian burial took place on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's Church, 96 Huron Street, Stratford, ON.
