Nolda Byvelds

Nolda Byvelds of Stratford, Ontario passed away on July 30, 2026, at the age of 96. She was born on February 1, 1930. Predeceased by her spouses Bill Byvelds and Gerry Byvelds, her parents Martinus and Johanna VanMoorsel, her son Pat Byvelds, and her brothers Harry (Diny) VanMoorsel, Ted (Catherine) VanMoorsel, Peter VanMoorsel and Bill VanMoorsel, she is survived by her children Margie Byvelds (married to Pete Wilson) of Tavistock, Reta Byvelds of Stratford and Ed Byvelds (married to Catherine) of Stratford; her grandchildren Sarah (married to Shane), Bill (married to Montana), Amanda (married to Scott), Mark, Owen, Emma and Grant; her great‑grandchildren Olivia, Stella, Caleb, Wade, Marek, Matilda, Lyla and Blake, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home, 12318 County Rd 18, Williamsburg, ON K0C 2H0. A Mass of Christian burial took place on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 31 Meikle St, Morrisburg, ON K0C1X0. The family requests that donations be made to Winchester Hospital.
