Nina Pearl Petersen

Nina Pearl Petersen of Stratford, Ontario, passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on January 28, 1959, she was a beloved member of her family and community. Nina was predeceased by her mother, Irene (Sturge), and her brother, Wilfred. She is survived by her husband, Rob; her children, Jamie McBurney (Jillian) and Josh McBurney (Tara Lauze); and her cherished grandchildren, Kylie and Bria. Nina also leaves behind her siblings: Alex (Marlene), Baxter (Jane), Percy Hoyles (Shannon), Bessie Hounsell (Cliff), Mary Kindree (Harold), Nettie Hoyles, and Drewie Hirst (Al). Visitation was held on September 6, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at W. G. Young Funeral Home. The family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice.
