Mercedita Santos of Stratford, Ontario, passed away on August 22, 2026, at the age of 72. She was born on June 12, 1954. Mercedita is predeceased by her parents, Augusto Palor and Dominga Palor. She is survived by her spouse, Pakito Santos; her children, Katherine (married to Jun), Kristine (married to Arnold), Kenneth (married to Anna) and Kerwin; her grandchildren, Addison, Alyana, Keanna, Maxene and Keyonne; her siblings, Norma, Rene, Claudio, Boy and Letty; and her siblings‑in‑law, Nila, Totoy, Helen Emy, Mila, Ayin, Roy and Joy. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford, ON N5A 5T7. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the same location. The family requests donations to a charity of the donor’s choice.
