MARGARET RUTHERFORD "MAGGIE" LUXFORD

Margaret Rutherford 'Maggie' Luxford passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026, at the age of 78. She was born in London, England, daughter of the late Allan and Lillian (Kimber) Melvin. Maggie was predeceased by her husband, Peter Luxford (2011). She is lovingly remembered by her children, Arran (Julie) and Caitlin (Troy), and her beloved granddaughter, Mabel. Maggie is also survived by her sisters, Sylvia and Kay, and her brother, Ian, as well as her sister-in-law, Gill (Dudley), and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Allan and Paul. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held at the W.G. Young Funeral Home on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The funeral service will take place at Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 11 a.m., followed by a reception. Memorial donations in Maggie's memory may be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
