Kenneth Hook

Kenneth Hook of Stratford, Ontario, passed away on October 20, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on June 11, 1946, Kenneth was surrounded by family, friends, and community throughout his life. He was predeceased by his parents, Cecil Hook and Catherine Hook, as well as Ray and Ruth Simpson. Kenneth is survived by his close friend Janet; his daughters, Karen Afghan (Abdul) and Andrea Webster (Sean); his grandchildren, Anna, Julia Afghan, Collin, Grace, and Owen Webster; and his siblings, Margaret Dunphy (Jack), Graham Hook (Lillian), and Peter Hook (Norzila). Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, located at 430 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5T7. A reception will follow on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM, continuing from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, situated at 41 Mornington St, Stratford, ON N5A5E7. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Doctors Without Borders or to Holy Trinity Anglican Church through the funeral home. The family has chosen to direct donations to Doctors Without Borders Canada.
