JOAN CONNERY

JOAN CONNERY passed away on May 18, 2026, at the age of 91. She died peacefully, with family by her side, in Stratford, Ontario. Joan was the beloved wife of the late George Connery. She was the loving mother of David and his wife Niamh, and Maureen and her husband Greg. Joan was the grandmother of Kaleigh and her husband Vik, Brittany, Ciara, and Shane and his wife Alex. She was the dear sister of Jack and his wife Dorothy. Joan was predeceased by her sisters, Lily, Betty, and Joyce, and her brother Ernie. She was the daughter of Henry French and Ruth Bloor. Joan grew up in Toronto and built a long and successful clerical career there. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no service. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations in Joan's memory may be made to CNIB or an animal charity of your choice.
