Irene Patterson

Irene Patterson, a resident of Stratford, Ontario, was born on May 3, 1931, and died on August 7, 2026, at the age of 95. She was predeceased by her parents, Berthold and Adeline Lindensmith (Olies), her husband Wesley Patterson, her daughter Linda Yielding, and her siblings Ray Lindensmith (married to Sandra), Rheta Quail (married to David) and Glenn Lindensmith. Survivors include her children Steve (married to Trudy), Mark (married to Sheila), Brad (married to Laura), Deb Rea (married to Tony) and Janice McDonald, as well as her sister‑in‑law Ann Lindensmith and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford, ON N5A 5T7. The family requests donations to the Spruce Lodge Home for the Aged or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
