Gord Vandervliet of Stratford, Ontario, passed away on October 23, 2026, at the age of 74. He was born on May 14, 1952. Gord was predeceased by his parents, Foort Peter and Maria Magdeline Vandervliet (Haldrich), his grandson Sean, and his siblings, Marianne, Peter (Beverly), and Richard Vandervliet (Colleen). He is survived by his wife, Susan Mae Vandervliet (Marlow); his children, Tasha Ross (Brad) and Cory Vandervliet; his grandchildren, Erik, Hannah, and Hayley; and his sister, Anne O'Donnell. Gord is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, along with many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth through the funeral home.
