Clarence Leroy Chute

Clarence Leroy Chute, a resident of Stratford, Ontario, died on August 8, 2026, at the age of 88. He was born on June 18, 1938. He was predeceased by his parents, Madison and Juanita (Wolfe) Chute, his mother‑in‑law Helen Spicer, his sisters Loraine (Walt) Moore and Wanda (Bob) DeBrabander, and his nephew Brian Moore. He is survived by his wife Sharon (Underwood) Chute; his children Allen (married to Roseann) and Marcey Ernest (married to Jeff); his grandchildren Taylor (married to Adam), Mackenzie (married to Joanna), Zach (married to Olivia), Becca and Ernest (married to Hayden); his siblings Jackie (married to Andy) Choma and Michael (married to Adele) Chute; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great‑nieces and great‑nephews. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in Avondale United Church, 194 Avondale Avenue, Stratford, followed by a reception from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at the same location.
