Barbara Ann Manley (Barb)

Barbara Ann Manley passed away on August 21, 2024, at Stratford General Hospital with family by her side at the age of 78. She was the dedicated wife of the late Thomas Manley, whom she married in 1974 and was with for 47 years until his passing on February 14, 2022. Barbara is survived by her children, John, Mark, and Kevin Manley, and her grandchildren, Jonah, Mateo, and Eliana Manley. She is also survived by her sister, Audrey Hillis, and her brothers, Jack and Reginald Hotham. Born on December 17, 1945, in Toronto, Ontario, to the late Melville and Della Hotham, Barbara was raised in the neighbourhood of Long Branch. She began her volunteer work at a young age and later worked in Accounts and Purchasing at DHL. After retiring, she continued her passion for volunteer work at St. Anne's Catholic Church, where she was an essential member of the RCIA program and helped organize a pilgrimage to France, Italy, and Portugal in 2008. In her later years, Barbara resided at Cedarcroft Retirement Home in Stratford, Ontario, close to her family.
