Nancy Lydia STECKLY

Nancy Lydia Steckly passed away peacefully on August 5, 2026, at the age of 99. Born on May 29, 1927, in Elma Township, she was a daughter of the late Samuel K. and Dorothy Steckly. Nancy is survived by her siblings, Allan Steckly, Beatrice Steckly, Irene Steckly, and Valentine Steckly and his wife Marlene, as well as her sister-in-law Elsie Steckly and many nieces and nephews. She will also be deeply missed by the Coghlin family, whom she considered her adoptive children, including Sandra, Nancy, Dale, and Bonnie, and their families. Nancy was predeceased by her sisters Dorothy and Mary, brothers Ephraim, Solomon, Samuel, Aaron, and Harold, brother-in-law Ben Steckly, and her chosen family members Bruce Coghlin and Gordon Coghlin and his wife Ruth. A member of Donegal Mennonite Fellowship and former member of Morningview Amish Mennonite Church, Nancy enjoyed gardening, sewing, and spending time outdoors. Friends and family are invited to visit at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home on August 6, 2026, with a funeral service to be held at Donegal Mennonite Fellowship on August 7, 2026, followed by interment at Mount Zion Mennonite Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth, Donegal Mennonite Fellowship, or Stratford General Hospital.
