Harvey Everett COOTE

Harvey Everett Coote passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the age of 80, at Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth. Born in South Durham, Quebec, Harvey was the son of the late Everett and Eile (Brown) Coote. He was a devoted and loving husband to Doris Olive (Dahl) Coote, whom he married on December 24, 1965, sharing over 60 wonderful years together. Harvey was a proud and caring father to Sheri, Nicki, Stacey (Mike), and Cory (Stephanie). He was a cherished grandfather to Kristen (Donnie), Kyle (Sadie), and Wynter; and a great-grandfather to Blake. He will be deeply missed by his sister, Joan Turley. He was predeceased by his son-in-law, Glen Mathers; and his brother-in-law, Richard Turley. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg, on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Memorial service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be given to Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth or Cancer Research through the funeral home.
