Joe Cote

Joe Cote, born on March 29, 1934, passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 92. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marie Schell, and their children, Sharon (Wendell) and Brian. Joe was a proud grandfather to Ali (Jesse), Mackenzie (Kyle), and Laura (Cody). He also leaves behind his children, Ron, Rita Mary, and Helen, along with nine siblings. Joe was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Isabel Cote, and his brothers, Jack, Paul, and Peter. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at O'Neill Funeral Home, located at 6324 Main St, Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON. A reception will follow from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stouffville Lions Club or Markham Stouffville Hospital.
