James Jeffrey Wood (Jeff)

James Jeffrey Wood passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the age of 79, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on January 31, 1947, at Mrs. Koke's Nursing Home in Stouffville, Jeff was the son of Alvin and Frances Wood. He was predeceased by his sister, Susan. He is lovingly remembered by his sister, Christine Rendeiro, and brother-in-law, Mark Aryeetey; his wife, Christine; his children, Maria, Leanne, Steven, and Sarah, and their mother, Sandra; his stepchildren, Jeremy, Jason, and Jewel; as well as 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Jeff lived most of his life in Stouffville. He was proud of his years farming, trucking, and working with Stouffville Christian School, and later found great fulfillment working as a PSW at Parkview Manor. The family would like to sincerely thank his PSW team for the incredible care they provided, as well as Drs. Mitirobi and Patterson for their dedicated support. Cremation has been arranged, and Jeff will later be interred during a private family service at Highland Memorial Gardens. A celebration of life was hosted on April 19, 2026. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Jeff to Parkinson's Canada.
