Douglas George Beckberger

Douglas George Beckberger of Stouffville, Ontario, passed away on August 16, 2026, at the age of 83. He was born on April 21, 1943. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Minnie Beckberger. He is survived by his wife, Norma Beckberger; his children, Julie (married to Bill), Mark (married to Ligaya), Vicky and Melissa (married to Jason); his grandchildren, Justin, Jessie, Kaylah, Kylah and Rihana; his siblings, Bill, Debora Ann (married to John) and Janice (married to Kerry); nine great‑grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews from his blended family. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Eastridge Evangelical Missionary Church, 12485 Tenth Line, Whitchurch‑Stouffville, ON L4A 7X3, followed by a reception at the same location until 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Saint James' Cemetery, 320 Coldwater Rd W, Orillia, ON L3V 6J8, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association.
