Wayne William Picard

Wayne William Picard passed away peacefully at his home in Stoney Creek on July 27, 2026, at the age of 85. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Phyllis, and was predeceased by his son David. Wayne is also survived by his son Craig, grandchildren Marisa, Kristen, Keisha, Lucas, and Olivia, and great-grandchildren Brady, Ava, and Ivy. He is further survived by his sister Sharon Day, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Wayne was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be remembered for his kindness and warmth. He enjoyed spending time with his family, tending to his garden, and attending Argos games. Visitation will be held at Smith's Funeral Home on July 31, 2026, from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions to Parkinson Canada.
