Shirley May NORTH

Shirley May North passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026, at McNally House. She was the beloved wife of the late Jim, who predeceased her in 2010. Shirley was a devoted mother to Michelle and her husband Dennis, and Michael and his wife Cathi. She was a cherished grandmother of Kyle and his wife Anna, Zachary and his wife Taylor, Mitchell and his wife Vanessa, Taylor and her husband Shane, Sam and his husband Tyson, Andrew, and Matthew, and a great-grandmother of Sawyer. Shirley is also survived by her loving sister Marlene and her husband John, and her brother Robert and his wife Margaret, as well as her brother-in-law Bob North, and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home in Stoney Creek on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to McNally House Hospice.
