Russell Wayne BOTT

Russell Wayne BOTT passed away unexpectedly on May 31, 2026, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton at the age of 83. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Joy, in 2009, and also predeceased by his sister Gay and brother-in-law Harold, as well as his brother-in-law Jim. Russell is lovingly remembered by his children, Wayne and his wife Dawn, and Lana and her husband Jason. He was a proud Papa to Justin, Rebecca and her husband Yuiry, and Cody, and a great-grandpa to Hailey, Emilia, and Theodore. Russell is also survived by his sister June, his longtime friend Mike Cunningham, and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 20 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Stoney Creek Legion, 12 King St. E., Stoney Creek.
