Donato IACOZZA

Donato Iacozza, also known as Danny, passed away on July 8, 2026, at the age of 87. He was the devoted husband of Lorraine Iacozza for 59 years. Born on September 3, 1938, in Pettorano sul Gizio, Abruzzo, Italy, Danny immigrated to Hamilton, Ontario, in 1956 and married Lorraine in 1967. He is survived by his children Connie Almonte and her husband Domenic, Vincenzo Iacozza and his wife Esterina, and Christina Beltrano and her husband Ignazio. Danny was a cherished grandfather to Cassandra, Jessica, Olivia, and Mateo, and a proud great-grandfather to Hunter and Hayden. He was predeceased by his parents Vincenzo and Concetta Iacozza, and his son-in-law. Danny worked as a hoisting engineer at Slater Steel for 36 years before retiring in 1999. He was a dedicated member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish and enjoyed spending time with his family, tending to his garden, and playing golf. Visitation will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME in STONEY CREEK.
