David Journeaux

David Journeaux passed away on July 24, 2026, at the age of 84, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Joan, and their children, Susan (Paul) Hannaberry, Lori (Jim) Borsodi, and Mike (Jaimie) Journeaux. David was a devoted grandpa to Matthew, Victoria, Brody, Stephanie, Kelsea Rae, and his great-grandchildren. He will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, extended family, and dear friends. Prior to his retirement, David dedicated 30 years of service to Dofasco, working in the Blast Furnace. A visitation will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home in Stoney Creek on July 29th and 30th, followed by a service. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations to a charity of one's choice.
