Darryl Silva

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Darryl Silva on August 26, 2026, at the age of 47. He was predeceased by his father, Manuel, and is survived by his mother, Mary Laura Silva (nee Moniz), and his brother, Bryan. Darryl will be fondly remembered by his aunts and uncles, including Jose (Julieta), Conceicao, Lourdes, Luis (Vicki), Fernando (Sapna), Ilda (Manuel Jose), Jurdelina, Alda (Alfredo), and Victor (Alison). He is also reunited in heaven with his aunt Eugenia, uncle John, and cousin Nelson. Darryl cherished his family and enjoyed dirt biking and motor sports at his brother's farm, creating lasting memories. Family and friends are invited to Smith's Funeral Home, 454 Highway #8, Stoney Creek, on September 2, 2026, from 5 to 9 p.m., with a Prayer Vigil at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church on September 3, 2026, at 12:30 p.m., followed by entombment at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery.
