Darlene Joyce (nee Prong) VANDERZWAAG

Darlene Joyce Vanderzwaag (nee Prong) passed away at McNally House Hospice on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at the age of 69. She was the beloved wife of Jack Vanderzwaag for 45 years. Darlene was the loved mother of Dale Vanderzwaag (Sara) and Kylie Adamo (Mark), and the cherished grandmother of Teagan, Ashtyn, Capri, and her grand dog Armour. She was the dear sister of Carol Brandsma (Tom) and Doug Prong (Sharon). Darlene will also be missed by many in-laws, extended family, and dear friends. Visitation will be held at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, Grimsby, on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Christ Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 448 Main Street West, Grimsby, on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 11 a.m., with burial at Grimsby Mountain Cemetery.
