Cameron "Cam" Jay McLEOD

Cameron Jay McLeod, known as Cam, was born on September 3, 1957, to Shirley and Don McLeod. He grew up on Charles Street in Stoney Creek, attended Green Acres Public School and the former Saltfleet High School where he played rugby. Cam later operated equipment for his brother Jeff’s construction business. He passed away on July 25, 2026, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Stoney Creek, at the age of 68. He is survived by his siblings Sandra, Ross (married to Tracey), Jeffrey (married to Janet) and David, all residing in the Hamilton area, as well as numerous nieces and nephews—Sarah, David, Michael, Erin, Morgan, Cory, Brady, and Natalie—and many McLeod cousins in the Stoney Creek region. A private family service has already been held. The family requests that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
