Audrey BROWNE (nee Elms)

Audrey BROWNE (nee Elms) passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026, at St. Peter's Hospital in Hamilton, at the age of 91, after a long and courageous battle with kidney disease. Born to William and Ivy Elms, both predeceased, Audrey was the beloved wife of Alexander Innes Mackenzie, predeceased in 1974, and later Bertram Browne, predeceased in 2004. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Patty Mackenzie, and son, Michael Mackenzie, and a much-loved grandmother to Mitchell and Christopher Baldwin. Audrey was the dear sister of the late Ken Elms, sister-in-law to the late Lois Elms, and the loving aunt to Shari Bragg and Shawna Elms. A private funeral service and burial will be held in accordance with her wishes. The family extends their sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Peter's Hospital for their compassionate care, kindness, and support during her final days.
